Hi, I'm Lachlan, the owner and lead inspector at True North Inspections.

I've spent almost 20 years working in the construction industry, building my career as a qualified carpenter and plumber before moving into construction training and assessment. Throughout that time, I've worked on everything from residential homes to commercial projects, giving me a practical understanding of how buildings are put together and where problems are most likely to occur.

My qualifications include:

• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Certificate III in Plumbing & Gas Fitting
• Certificate IV in Building & Construction
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

I founded True North Inspections because I believe every home buyer deserves honest, detailed, and easy-to-understand information before making one of the biggest financial decisions of their life.

Using professional inspection equipment, including thermal imaging technology and moisture detection, I take the time to thoroughly assess a property and explain my findings in plain English.
